    St. Stephen's Parish invites the public to their First Friday Devotions.  On the 1st Fridays of the month, Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament immediately follows Holy Mass at 9:00AM, with Benediction at 3:00PM.  The La Pieta International Prayer Group meets every 1st Friday at 4:30PM for novena prayers to honor the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, followed by Holy Mass at 6:00PM.

    Join us as we participate in the First Saturday Devotion with Archbishop Sample and parishes throughout the Archdiocese of Portland.  This devotion originated from the Church-approved Marian apparitions at Fatima.  On the first Saturday of each month, the faithful are asked to:

    • Go to Confession
    • Receive Holy Communion
    • Pray the Rosary
    • Meditate for 15 minutes on a mystery of the Rosary

    All of these actions should be offered for the intention of making reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  
    It can be started in any month and continue for five consecutive months.

    Columbia River Serra hosts the 5th annual Vocations Benefit Dinner on Saturday, January 31 at St. Joseph Parish in Vancouver.  Fr. Bryan Dolejsi, vocations director for the Archdiocese of Seattle, will be the keynote speaker, accompanied by Sr. Bernadette Wilson, Society of Mary, and Br. Matthias Lambrecht, OCD, as well as other women and men religious, seminarians and priests, to foster vocations to the priesthood and consecrated religious life.  Proceeds to support Quo Vadis, a three-day camp for young men to learn about the priesthood.

    The Dominican Forum is a series of lectures, workshops and seminars designed to engage critical issues of church and society in the light of faith and theological scholarship.
